It is the home-owners responsibility to check with local townships or boroughs to identify permit requirements. In most cases, the home owner will obtain the permit before the project begins. 

Anytime a homeowner is planning to disturb the ground, they should make a Pennsylvania One Call. However, if you are working with us, we will plan to make that call for the homeowner as part of the project.

Yes. These are two different types of rock. However, it is shale that is used to create bases for roads and building pads. 

Topsoil is the organic nutrient-rich top layer of the soil. This layer, approximately 5-10 inches deep, will contain roots and small rocks. If your project requires topsoil which is free from any organic debris, you will want to request screened topsoil.

Yes. We will dig ponds and line them with clay as long as the pond in not interfering with a stream bed.  We also provide pond restoration.

Yes. We will subcontract to home builders and commercial general contractors.

Stones can be tailgated in some cases. However it is not an option in situations where there are significant ruts, overhead wires and tree limbs, and steep grades.

We accept credit, checks and cash. We will also work with your bank if you’re financing a home building or other large project.

Equipment which can not be monitored for use will be charged as a two-day rental. If the equipment can be monitored for use, the customer will be charged for one day of rent if the equipment has been used for 8 hours or less. If the meter exceeds 8 hours, the customer will be charged for 2 days of use.
